    This position requires a well organized and cooperative individual who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of clients, building tenants, and co-workers as well as have a proven track record of being reliable and responsible.



    -Conduct constant Vehicle and Foot patrols of parking lot and retail shopping center, keeping it safe and secure.

    -Provide an overall physical presence of security to shoppers and identified retailers.

    -Greet and direct Plaza visitors, contractors, employees etc.  Permit only authorized individuals to enter property and buildings.

    -Prohibit all unwelcomed activity including loitering and solicitation etc.

    -Check property for trespassers and vagrants.

    -Maintain telephone communications with Agent and tenants.

    -Answer phone calls in a clear and respectable manner.

    -Provide information and directions to tenants, guests and employees.

    -Assist tenants and visitors in emergencies and complete incident reports for all activities.

    -Complete daily/monthly reports as directed.

    -Monitor Dock activities and enforce Plaza policies and procedures. Enforce control over any removal of property.

    -Monitor and report problems with facility systems: security systems, fire systems, alarms.

    -Notify Agent of tenant concerns and repairs of parking lot, buildings, lighting, landscaping, cleaning etc.

    -Deliver newsletters, notices and other materials to tenants and Vendors and requested by Agent.

    -All other duties as assigned.


    -Must Have a valid drivers license in good standing.

    -Must be able to work weekends.



    -Must be at least 20 years of age.

    -Must posses 20hr basic security training cerificate or willing to acquire it.

    -Must be a high school graduate (GED accepted) and provide us with a copy of your diploma and/or transcripts.

    -Must pass a stringent pre-employment background investigation (including drug screen), demonstrating a stable work history and/or education.

    -Must disclose all criminal convictions and pending charges.

    -Must be a cooperative team player with good oral and written communication skills.

    -Must be capable of evaluating, investigating and reporting all types of security and law enforcement incidents.

    -Must be able to withstand extended periods of walking and standing; restrain violent subjects; make physical arrests; assist in fire fighting.

    -Must maintain a working telephone number through which we can contact you.

    -Must have reliable transportation.

    -Must have no more than 3 violations on your driving record within a 2 year period (if driving a company vehicle is required as part of job duties).

    -Must wear our uniform and maintain our high standards for grooming and appearance.

    -Must provide a valid PERC, only if you have received one in the past.
