This position requires a well organized and cooperative individual who learns quickly and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to work a flexible schedule to support the needs of clients, building tenants, and co-workers as well as have a proven track record of being reliable and responsible

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Directing visitors, answering phones, providing direct customer assistance.
  • Ensuring residents and visitors follow access control procedures, according to building policy.
  • Provide walking patrol of interior and exterior of property.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate command presence when responding to emergencies.

  • Stand for extended periods of time (6 to 8 hours).
  • Ability to physically restrain an individual with or without assistance.
  • Pass job related fitness test at time of hire and annually.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Gather information for incident report and utilize PC to generate incident report
  • Ability to write clear, concise and thorough reports, including daily activity and incident.
  • Maintain order through appropriate enforcement of rules and regulations.
  • Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively.

  • Ability to work in elevators.
  • Coordinating elevators for tenant moves and deliveries.
  • Coordinating elevators for tenant moves and deliveries.
  • Ensures the safety of hospital property, staff, patients, physicians and visitors by assessing activities on hospital grounds.
  • Must be able to effectively and appropriately manage confidential information and to work responsibly in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Ability and willingness to receive cross training on all contracted posts which will assist department and client leadership during an emergency incident.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 20 years of age.
  • Must be a high school graduate (GED accepted) and provide us with a copy of your diploma and/or transcripts.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a 20 hour training certificate.
  • Must pass a stringent pre-employment background investigation (including drug screen),  =demonstrating a stable work history and/or education.
  • Must disclose all criminal convictions and pending charges.
  • Must maintain a working telephone number through which we can contact you.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License in good standing.
  • Must have no more than 2 violations on your driving record within a 2 year period (if driving a company vehicle is required as part of job duties).
  • Must wear our uniform and maintain our high standards for grooming and appearance.
  • Must have or be able to receive a PERC.
  • Ability to drive in all weather conditions and time periods.
  • Ability to follow an on-call system that may require you to work 12 – 16 hours
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on the organization’s needs.
  • Must pass physical assessment upon hire and every 6 months thereafter.
  • Must complete the OSHA medical questionnaire for FIT testing.  This questionnaire allows for medical approval to be FIT tested for the N95 PPE masks.
