Apex3 Security is a regionally recognized contract security service firm that provides the highest quality customized security programs to world-class commercial, residential and retail properties.


Apex3 Security has relationships with over 35 clients and close to 400 employees.  Our specialty is the Chicago market, which allows us to provide a close relationship versus global service providers. 


  • Oversee the entire operating department.


  • A mentor and daily resource to 6 security officers.


  • Client and building tenant relations.


  • Local, state and federal agency liaison.


  • Administrative assignments to include, interviewing/recruitment, billing, payroll, data entry, overtime control, etc.


  • Direct fiscal responsibility via cost effective budget management.


  • Employee training & skill development of all department personnel.


  • Conducting employee inspections and appraisals.


  • Policy and procedure development.


  • Fire/life safety/security alarm response.


  • Conduct emergency response drills and training with all staff.


  • Customer Service to the highest level possible.


  • Responsibilities as described in department’s Operations Manual.


  • Prior Commercial Property Security experience



Based on experience


  • Must have 2 years prior experience in a supervisory position overseeing work of 6+ employees.


  • A 4-year college degree is preferred.


  • Must have an excellent attendance record.


  • Must have an exceptional job performance record.


  • Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.


  • Must have an aggressive work philosophy and strong leadership and teambuilding skills.


  • Must have experience with fire/life/safety programs.


  • Prior high rise building and customer service experience a definite plus.
